Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Dandelion Thrive respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the Foundation may collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
Information we may collect
We may collect contact information, the reason you are reaching out, financial information needed to review eligibility, donation and receipt information, partnership or grant inquiries, and basic website information such as browser or device data.
We ask that you do not send detailed medical records, a trauma history, or other sensitive clinical information through a general contact form or email.
How we use information
We may use information to respond to questions, review eligibility for financial assistance, coordinate approved payments with providers, process donations, issue receipts, communicate program updates, develop community partnerships, improve our work, meet legal obligations, and protect the Foundation and the people we serve.
Financial support and care information
Dandelion Thrive reviews financial eligibility and helps pay approved providers. Clinical information belongs with the mental-health provider. Wellness intake information belongs with Wellness Embodied. The Foundation seeks to collect only what it needs to make and administer financial-assistance decisions.
When information may be shared
We may share limited information with service providers who help operate our website, email, payment, accounting, or administrative systems; with an approved provider when needed to arrange payment; when required by law; or when necessary to protect safety, rights, or property.
We do not sell personal information.
Donations and payments
Donations may be processed by third-party payment providers. Those providers handle payment information under their own privacy and security practices. The Foundation keeps the information needed for receipts, accounting, donor records, and legal compliance.
Cookies and website tools
The website may use cookies and similar tools for essential functions, security, accessibility, analytics, forms, and payments. Available cookie choices will be explained through the website’s consent tools.
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No system can promise perfect security. We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, legal obligations, financial records, safety, or dispute resolution.
Your choices
You may ask to update your contact information, change communication preferences, or ask questions about information the Foundation holds. Some records must be retained for legal, accounting, donation, or program-administration reasons.
Children
The website is not designed to collect information directly from children without involvement from a parent, guardian, or authorized professional.
